Where the Midlands begins

The Midlands Meander is a route through the hills north of Hilton, with farm stalls, cheese makers, potters and places to eat. Hilton and Howick sit at its southern end, so a home here makes a good base.

Nottingham Road, in the middle of the Meander, is 48 km from Garlington House and 51 km from The Gates at Hilton by road.

Our homes for a Midlands break

For a family, Unit 5 and Unit 6 at The Gates have views over the uMngeni Valley. Garlington House has a fireplace for cold nights and a braai on the patio.

Groups can take the Villa at 9 Azalea Drive, with five bedrooms and a two bedroom cottage beside it. Couples can book one of three lofts, from R1,000 a night.

Nottingham Road, in the middle of the Meander, is 48 km from Garlington House and 51 km from The Gates at Hilton. Howick, at the southern end, is about 13 km from 9 Azalea Drive.

Do you have a home for a big group?

Yes. The Villa at 9 Azalea Drive has five bedrooms, and the cottage in its garden has two more. Together they sleep up to fourteen adults under our booking terms.

Is self catering cleaned?

Yes. Every short stay home is cleaned each day.
